  • Two Years (Unofficially)

It has been two years since the first day we saw each other again, the first day we held hands and the first day we kissed. Crazy how much has changed within (what feels like) a short period of time.

We used to depend on Adrian's parents or cousin to pick me up from the Amtrak station. We used to take public transportation to get around around Martinez.  We used to walk and bike long distances around Davis. Now, Adrian can pick me up from the Amtrak station by himself and he often drives to Davis to visit me. Just having Adrian receive his driver license has changed our situation so much. Though it is more convenient now, I sometimes miss those long walks we had to take to reach our destinations.

Adrian drove to Elk Grove today so we could spend our unofficial two year anniversary together. (It's unofficial because he didn't ask me to be his girlfriend on December 29, 2007.  He thought it would be too early to ask since it was our first time hanging out again since our parents stopped meeting up.)

First, we went to Machado Dairy Park to exchange our Christmas gifts with each other. This year, I gave him an Unbound Vision tee, a black tie and a USB flash drive/lighter (to replace the one he lost.) Adrian gave me a handful of small gifts that he stuck inside a huge box of packing peanuts. He told me he did a poor job at wrapping, but I thought his idea to reuse his packing materials was smart. I was told to close my eyes and dig around for my presents, which was pretty fun. My presents from him were a pack of microfiber cloths (YES! ), a stuffed blue Yoshi to hang in my future car, two packets of Crazy Cores Skittles, a coat he randomly picked out for me from Forever 21, a matching phone charm/key chain in the shape of a bun, a panda whistle and a copy of his house key.

^ Adrian opening his present! I didn't take pictures of each thing since he didn't hold them up for me.

^ The coat Adrian picked out for me. It has a detachable hood too!

^ My present full of packing peanuts!

^ Adrian wanted me to close my eyes and feel for the presents.

    ^ First up was Yoshi!

^ Next was the panda whistle thing!

    ^ Microfiber cloths! WOOHOOOOO!

    ^ Skittles! <3

^ Our matching keychains/phone charm. Adrian said it looks similar to our prom outfits.

^ My own copy of Adrian's house key.

^ First Polaroid on my last pack of expired film. About time I use it!

    ^ I thought Adrian looked smashing! <4

Afterwards, we went to Wal-Mart and I bought new windshield wipers for Adrian since rain was predicted in the forecast. (I don't trust him driving in the rain with his crummy windshield wipers. =X) We had no idea that windshield wipers were sorted by length. (I personally thought it was car specific. XD) I also made a copy of my apartment key for Adrian. We installed the windshield wipers in the parking lot then headed to Roseville Galleria.

^ New wipers for Adrian. Yayyyy!

^ Kisses for my sleeping driver.

Spent the most time in Forever 21. I had my eyes on two coats that were online, but I sadly couldn't find them in the store. I felt sad thinking I was going to leave the store empty handed, but I stumbled upon another pretty jacket that Adrian ended up paying for. Adrian also bought a long coat for himself and sock monkey key covers for our new keys. As we were leaving the store, Adrian found another coat he liked and I ended up paying for that since I felt like he paid for a lot already. We got a 5% discount since it was missing a button. Woo!

^ Dang crazy shoppers making a mess at Pacsun!

^ Written on a super dusty car on display.

^ I thought the Forever 21 at Roseville looked so pretty.

^ Adrian looks like a cute fob in this one.

^ I look like such a bum with a beanie, but Adrian likes it apparently!

    ^ Happy sigh! <4

^ The other coat I got.

^ My sock monkey key cover!

^ Check out that reflection from the rain!

We ate at Rubio's since it was Fish Taco Tuesdays. (I didn't know they had the special at the mall too! ) Adrian was totally amazed that they offered free soda refills. LOVE! <3

    ^ Delicious!

^ A vending machine for babies. Teehee.

    ^ You like?

^ Electronic cigarettes for sale! I think the concept for these are really interesting.

^ Looks real too, but kinda long.

Adrian dropped me off around 0900PM then drove the hour and a half drive home. <4

    To be continued.

    P.S.
Sorry for all the pictures of myself! =X
